Voile, Organza & Batist – welcher transparente Stoff passt wohin?

Transparente Gardinenstoffe gibt es in verschiedenen Ausführungen, die sich in Haptik, Fall und Lichtdurchlässigkeit unterscheiden:

  • Voile – besonders leicht und fließend, klassischer Allrounder für alle Räume
  • Organza – etwas steifer, mit leichtem Glanz, wirkt elegant und festlich
  • Batist – fein gewebt, leicht und glatt, ideal für zarte Scheibengardinen
  • Häkelspitze – handgearbeiteter Look, romantisch und charakterstark
  • Stores – breite transparente Bahnen mit feiner Struktur oder Muster

SICHTSCHUTZ UND LICHT IM EINKLANG

Wie viel Sichtschutz bieten transparente Gardinenstoffe?

Transparente Stoffe bieten tagsüber Sichtschutz – von außen ist bei Gegenlicht (also bei hellem Tageslicht draußen) kaum etwas im Inneren zu erkennen.

Nachts dreht sich das Verhältnis um: Wenn innen mehr Licht als außen vorhanden ist, wird die Gardine durchsichtig. Für abendlichen Sichtschutz empfiehlt sich eine Kombination mit einem blickdichten Vorhang oder Rollo.

Für mehr Sichtschutz bei gleicher Lichtwirkung eignen sich halbtransparente Gardinenstoffe, die eine zusätzliche Weblage besitzen.

Häufige Fragen zu transparenten Gardinenstoffen

Welche Transparenz-Stufe eignet sich für welchen Raum?
Für Wohnzimmer und Küche sind leicht transparente Stoffe ideal – viel Licht, tagsüber guter Sichtschutz. Im Schlafzimmer empfiehlt sich halbtransparenter oder verdunkelnder Stoff. Im Bad eignen sich kurze Scheibengardinen aus Batist oder Voile.
Wie wasche ich transparente Gardinenstoffe?
Die meisten Voile-Stoffe aus Polyester sind bei 30 °C im Schonwaschgang waschbar. Nicht schleudern – einfach nass aufhängen, dann fallen sie glatt. Baumwoll-Voile kann bei 40 °C gewaschen werden, kann aber etwas einlaufen.
Welches Gardinenband passt zu transparenten Stoffen?
Bei leichten Voile-Stoffen empfiehlt sich ein Kräuselband (1:2 bis 1:2,5) für weiche Wellen, oder ein Ösensystem für einen modernen Look – passende Gardinenbänder findest du hier. Bleistiftfaltenband wirkt besonders elegant und strukturiert.
